Adventure weekends

$400+/dog

Available exclusively to current members of Wolf Pack, I also run occasional weekend adventures, where I take a small pack of dogs exploring around New Zealand. This is basically summer camp but for dogs šŸ˜‰

Your dog will be picked up on Friday morning, and will attend daycare to help settle them for the travel later in the day. After dropping off the daycare dogs, we depart for our adventure at approximately 4pm, and arrive at our destination later that evening. Your dog will then spend all of Saturday, Sunday, and half of Monday exploring my chosen destination, from beach, to bush, to tourist attractions, and everything in between. The dogs all sleep in my van (with me). Your dog will be dropped home to you on Monday evening, between 7 – 9pm.

Food is included. Bedding/bowls are provided, as is everything else.

Not all dogs will be suited to this service. Your dog must have been attending Wolf Pack for a minimum of 6 months, must be physically fit (we average 50 – 60km of walking and running over the course of three days), must be a minimum of 12 months old, and must be approved by myself in terms of temperament.

Please note that some dogs may not be accepted due to their temperament, but this is not a reflection of them in general. The idea of this service is to have a weekend filled with as much adventuring as possible. If your dog is likely to require a lot of training to be able to do this with them (ie poor leash skills, lack of confidence in public spaces, reactivity towards strangers), then they may not be accepted, as I will likely not have the time to get them up to speed.

Price is based on our adventure destination and planned activities – for example, a South Island trip will be more expensive.

If you are a client and are keen to enroll your dog in a future adventure weekend, get in contact with me to register your interest and I will let you know about upcoming plans.
